Marijuana isn't prescribed because it isn't a FDA approved drug - it is recommended by the doctor.

I don't believe that any CBD products are in use in hospitals unless it is something from GW Pharmaceuticals.

The hospitals aren't going to allow patients to ingest pills of unknown quality and origin.
