Is there a signed order? I looked on PACER and never saw an order. I saw the motion to Change Venue and an UNSIGNED order given to the judge as a courtesy to sign if, and ONLY if, he actually grants the order.

But not signed and actually granted as per this afternoon.

So I had a friend login to PACER and he also looked and he only saw the motion (13 pages) as well as several attachments (exhibits, proposed order). But no docket with a signed and granted order from the court.

You have to be very careful on PACER to not confuse "proposed orders" drafted by the plaintiffs or defendants using their own language, with actual orders written and signed by the court.

Assuming the judge grants a motion, he will sometimes use the proposed order given to him as a courtesy and will just sign it. Sometimes he won't and will draft his own order with words of his choosing.

And sometimes he won't agree and will not grant an order at all.
