Letgo- sometime goodwill is added when purchases exceed the value of the book assets. So they buy China Newco at 100 Million. but the actual values is only 60 Million, if 40 million is booked to Goodwill then the books balance.
However I agree this is a large growth in Goodwill. Was there an Purchase in excess of asset value this large????
