Great insight!

Bear's are constantly playing devil's advocate... and in order to find out those things behind the scenes, if you can't beat em join em!

It is alot easier to "play" a bear than a bull. I think that is why they are more potent at what they do. From a physiological standpoint, the flight or fight aspect can come into play here in the trading community with quite an intensity. Injecting that fear about a companies movements or worth causes doubt... and we are talking about money here which noone likes to lose. When people come aboard saying that people have lost money on this stock over the years and it will happen again right now, that's when those conservatives exit before the damage could be done. The number of bashers quantifies how big a sell-off just might be. To me, Bears grow in numbers as traders gain experience. I wouldn't say it is a trader "graduating" into the next level of trading, but I would say that the path of pushing a stock's credentials down for personal gain becomes available to those who are around long enough, and imo is a possible reason why they seem to be the "most" imformed about what is really going on with a company or MM's actions.

There's also quite a few groups I'm sure playing these stocks. I've thought of it myself. A few smart, quick-minded individuals are getting out at the same time as myself. I've thought about trading with them but don't know the legalities of it yet. I'm a loner though, just sticking to myself I believe will suffice BUT if I have thought of it, how many of the other millions here have not only had the thought, but followed through, practiced, and perfected such a process?

Just as there will always be a battle between science and religion, the two are completely different. Science is not a replacement, it is an explanation and most renowned scientists were deeply religious. That's how I analogize TA in my mind. It is not a replacement for the fundamentals of a company, but is an explanation of what has happened and what the numbers are telling us. Mathematics is true fact, there is NO lies or deceit in the numbers, although sometimes they are misleading depending on how you interpret them.

I sincerely appreciate the time you put into explaining the things you do and giving everyone those numbers and explanations. They are always unbiased and it's unfortunate that people see them as the anti to their own view rather than what they truly are - neutral facts and information for people to interpret.
