OK lets start with the time factor. Say you want to go into the MJ business which is on fire right now with more states passing legislation and getting on the band wagon.

If you go thru the IPO route it will take over a year to go public and enough 'red tape' to circle the globe.
In a reverse merger takeover you will acquire controlling interest of the shell and be publicly trading in as little as 30 days. (not missing the 'hot' sector)

Next, it is easier to acquire takeover of this 'defunct' stock since they don't have the funds/desire to hold onto the majority of shares (controlling interest)

So lets say someone does a reverse merger takeover trading at .0001 , updates and becomes current with sec filings and puts out new business direction PR and market responds with immediate .0005 pps. Well we can all do the math. It happens often.

Whether it will happen here is pure speculation but I'm in for the lotto play. Wouldn't put my grocery money on it though ~
