Weekend Prediction Time! Come one, come all!!
OK, I've had a couple days to get over my disgust of the latest "delay", and am once again ready to contemplate the future.
Medinah friends and foes alike, let's hear your predictions, sort of like a NCAA pool-- it will be fun to see how right/wrong we were on May 11 (Az, the GM is 5/11, not 4/11, or did I miss the point of your post?)
So here are my thoughts-
1. Les did fracture his femur and hurt his hand/arm/wrist, whatever. Sorry, Krak, but you're missing the ball on this one. It is way too easy to visit Vancouver and watch Les squirm in his office and hobble out the door in avoidance because he has a "meeting" - the BOD is incompetent, inarticulate, and truly "in over their heads", but they're not insane enough to publish that update if it could be so easily debunked.
2. Les' injury provided a convenient excuse to bail out of their already overdue "2 week" promise, as I am quite confidant there is no ADL deal with a significant partner currently pending.
3. There is a 50% chance the GM will be "postponed"
4. If we do have a GM, the only news of note will be some kind of operating agreement with contract miners or something along those lines for the LDM. We won't have heard of the whoever these folks turn out to be, but we will be assured how competent they are, trucks will be rolling, assays will be published, and cash flow will soon begin. (as an aside, when this happens the dentist will applaud the brilliant GM, citing the LDM as a gateway for Medinah to succeed via another acronym he just invented)
5. If we do have a GM, we will hear how negotiations on the ADL are "berry berry close", and how our fearless leaders are evaluating the various interested parties who are SO anxious to get their hands on our "world class deposit".
So that's my take. Here for posterity so I can take my lumps if/when I am wrong.
Oh, one last bonus question for the masses:
Which event will occur first?:
1. Actual cash flow from the ADL
2. George R. R. Martin concludes "A Song of Fire and Ice" under legal pressure from HBO
3. Armageddon
I'm wavering, but currently #3 looks best to me...
I'd love to hear the board consensus...
