I get the feeling that the new CD-59 product is on a fast track to market. Currently there is no other product for early detection of microvascular complications which result in kidney failure and blindness. The fact that they have hired the CRO to me is a very good sign that they are serious about developing and taking this product to market ASAP. It will be a no brainer for insurance providers to pay for the test. Financially the test will have to be a lot cheaper than transplanting organs. And since no one else is doing it, we should be able to make healthy margins on the tests.

Does anybody have any feel for what the market potential is for this product?
