That's a really good point which I did not think about. If they are buying 2 billion shares then obviously they want the PPS to be low. Total cost will be around $2 million for the company. Looking at todays volume of 0.8 billion would mean the company has another 1.2 billion to purchase. This explains why the PPS stayed essentially unchanged today. Those 0.8 billion shares are being taken out of play. I think I understand this now.
