I'm a Realist About PHOT

Let me preface this post by saying that I have been a holder a PHOT since January when I bought in at .25. Thus far, I have been highly satisfied with PHOT. I am also not here to promote PHOT, or any other stock, but provide my honest analysis of the PHOT.

Now, why would you want to even bother reading this post? Well, I can't give you a reason other than I am a seasoned investor who has had a lot of success with my investments over the years.

So...take this post as you will, but I hope to continue to hear what all have to say going forward....so hear it goes.

Only buy into real hype
I am not one to buy into artificial hype of any stock. Unfortunately, in penny-stock world, we see too much of this artifial hype from certain companies. This happens from time-to-time with Growlife. However, for the most part, Growlife releases firm statements in their press releases. Anytime a company files a Letter-of-Intent, or LOI, it is just that...a chance that something may occur that will have a positive (and sometimes negative) impact on a stock. LOIs are definitely a positive for Growlife and any other companies signing an LOI, however, until this is put into action, that is when I will get excited about it. The FITX deal I am excited about for PHOT, and when the time comes that the approval comes from Health Canada to grow medicinal marijuana, if PHOT doesn't skyrocket at that point, I will be very shocked.

The only fluff hype that we see come out about PHOT are those released by 3rd parties who are unrelated to Growlife and have no idea of what Growlife is all about. NO INVESTOR should ever listen to crap that is spewed by those outside of the company, whether it be providing positive or negative press about a stock. If investors do listen to crap, then they should not be investing in stocks. Put your money in a savings account earning a less than 1% APR.

Don't Respond to Morons
I have seen a lot of responses on these forums responding to negative postings of PHOT, among other stocks. My suggestion is this: DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! This type of hype about morons only brings those morons to the forefront, making them more important than the positive future of PHOT. As I said, what these morons say is not important! Only true, hard evidence from the company should ever be how you make your investing decisions.

Due Diligence and Technical Analysis
Personally, I take time each day to do my own due diligence about every stock I invest in. I perform my own technical analysis and have built a strong understanding of the markets so I don't have to rely on those websites to make my investment decisions. I will refrain on mentioning URLs as any press is too much press for those moronic, scam websites.

With that, I have been successful in my investing, and have a real aggressive investment strategy. All while doing my own due diligence and technical analysis.

Short Selling...don't buy into it!
Short selling penny stocks is a near impossible feat. No broker will ever allow investors to borrow penny stocks. Again, don't buy into the posters who say they do this. Most likely, it isn't true, unless they are scamming the market somehow...which last I checked was illegal. The market is most likely moving because of stockholders liquidating their shares and taking a profit. Or, if they are seeing a long position become stagnant, they are selling off and getting into something else. If their shareholder wealth is not being maximized, then it is time to move onto a stock with more potential. The name of the game is buying low and selling high, and what we have seen in the last couple of days is just that. Until concrete news comes out, it will probably show that type of volatility.

Patience!
We all must understand that Rome wasn't built in a day, and becoming a millionaire from the "marijuana industry" will not happen overnight either. This is an industry in its infancy. Governmental regulation will hold this industry back for a while. Remember, we didn't have this type of regulation with the tech stocks of the early and mid-90s. They were able to operate at will. With the marijuana industry, we are dealing with a whole different animal...with an industry potential that will dwarf the technology industry. We also have the big pharmaceutical companies who are also standing in the way, and will remain to do so until they get out of the politicians pockets and our politicians start working in the best interest of the people. With the positive press the marijuana industry has received from the CNN Sanjay Gupta Weed 2 special and the CNBC Colorado Potrush special, and the tax revenues recognized in the State of Colorado (and soon Washington State), there is nothing but upside to the industry. So BE PATIENT!

In Closing...
Always take the time and do your own due diligence and technical analysis. Don't let anyone do your thinking for you...especially those that will sway your thinking in a direction that you may not want to go. Do what you think is right. If one wants to stay long in a stock, then by all means, stay long...there is an upside and positive future. If one wants to play the swings, buying low and selling high, then that is OK too. If one wants to short sell a stock, then that is OK too. No matter what you investing strategy, it is what makes out market a free market.

Thanks for reading and good luck to all! And good luck to Growlife!
