COMMENTS REGARDING PAST EXPLORATION WORK:

•The epithermal mineralization is from a very high environment in the vein system, almost xenothermal in grain and band textures (it is chalcedonic versus the more typical subhedral qtz). It is likely the epithermal textures will continue to depth, perhaps to 2500 - 2800 m. It may be the better ore shoots will be found at depth in a more typical epithermal environment.

•In reading the 2003 Meridian (BISA) exploration report, the 2002 drilling program focused on drilling immediately adjacent to developed mine levels and ore blocks (see slide 8 in EREP pwer pt). Under the lowest levels the drilling usually was reaching 3280 m - 3250 m, usually 40 - 70 m below lowest mine levels.

•Meridian (BISA) stated that while wall rock, epithermal vein widths and volumes (10km) were favorable, economic ore shoots (at 2002 prices) were small and grade was not demonstrated sufficiently by drilling below the 3250m depth.

•The drilling was not definitive, as Meridian had planned a second phase of drilling with twice the drill holes.

•Major geophysical and disseminated targets were not tested

•Ridge tops are at 3350 - 3650 m.a.s.l. Lowest mine levels 3320 m.a.s.l.

•A few drill holes on a few veins reached sub 3200m depths.

•Not all the veins were closed off at depth by drilling

•Ore shoots often die out and new ones replace them within a vein system.

•Present day prices are very different than those of 2002.
