If you think the company may be innocent of any wrong doing then why not give them a heads up and 7-10 days or whatever to give you a good reason why you shouldn't proceed to send what you have to the authorities. They will either have a good reason (in your mind) or not but at least you will have given them the opportunity. They may respond or they may not. You may like their reason or you may not.

However, if they have a compelling reason why you should not send the package immediately to the Feds, you will have given them an opportunity to convince you. If they do not respond or give a so what response, you will have done your best.

If the world is as dirty a place as you think, you may want to use a P.O. Box.
