Screen for & looking at stocks.

I actually screen at several places, for several different reasons.

Quick swing,
Very bad charts, but you can show a group of charts together and scan for over all 6 month trend, before moving it to stock charts look, link below.
I like the week & month "Continuing Trends : Bullish" at the bottom. Will look at year for more stable swing plays.
Over all this link offers an excelant range from; the "type of TA movement" desired, to the "company size" of stock, by picking exchanges.

Stable swing,
When I want to play a better quality stock, I like to sector pick here,
http://www2.barchart.com/sectors.asp?base=industry.

But don't forget the leads that come to this board! Finding possible plays from posters asking for a stock look, is about the only benifit I recieve for my work. You guys find me some good stocks sometimes. And all the effort I put in is looking at it for you. No hours of searching a DDing stock after stock.

As for what I use to look at the stock, after I pick it, the link is this link;
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?symbol=GTE&period=DAILY&years=0&months=3&days=0&i...
It's set up for my first quick look. The next thing I do is change the Time frame from 3 month to 1 year and change the aroon from 3 day to 14. To get a longer understanding of the history.

Then I pop right over to Yahoo finance for checking the PR story then financials the SEC reports and last a quicky with the key statistics.
