just read and article and had not given this much thought until now. NASCAR/ISCA have been messing with the schedule for many years. Some of the races have remained in place over the years, but the Bristol spring race keeps getting pushed up. It used to be run the 2nd or 3rd week in April which in Tennessee is when the best warm ups occur for people to watch a good race. now its the second week in March when its the wettest and coldest temperatures to which by the calandar we still aren't officially in Spring yet. IN theory we just ran Bristol in the Winter season and in the Midwest and East cost areas can last another two weeks. I wouln't want to watch a race in 40 degree weather either. I have hard time with a baseball game in Michigan in that temp... a car race... not happening. Hahahaha
