Did you see "60 Mins"? They had a segment on seaports lack of security on container inspection. WOW!! Spokesman (didn't get name(s)) said only 1% of containers got inspected (we have heard that before) and that they can't inspect all containers because congress doesn't appear to be concerned and won't allocate funds for more man power and equipment.
Spokesman also said they couldn't inspect all containers because it would cause a log jam on containers being delivered (doesn't the "Snuffer" eliminate that problem???).
Spokesman also stated he feels the goverment is aware of the problem but won't do anything about it. HAHA
Every time I have watched a "60 Mins" report in regards to goverments lack of action on something within days things start happening. Amazing what buttons a "60 Mins" report can push. HAHA
Sorry I didn't hear the entire report so I hope I didn't mis-interpret the story but I believe the above is correct.
Lets hope HISC gets a call to fix the problem. GLTU
