FWIW, we have had the best luck going back and forth between Tylenol and Advil/Motrin, types, every other dose. Not sure if it really works any better when the fevers are tough to break, but my sister was told to do that by a doctor with my nephew and she passed it along to us. Since it hasn't not worked, it has sort of stuck with us.
