Prof. Haim Aviv serves on the Board of Directors of Ben Gurion University and Yeda Ltd, the commercial arm of the Weitzman Institute of Technology. He was both a founder and a senior executive in a number of leading Israeli biotechnology companies including Biotechnology General, Pharmos, Predix, Diatech, Novamed and Herbamed. He was chairman of the Israel National Committee for Biotechnology and served as Associate Professor (Emeritus) at the Weitzman Institute of Technology, where he received his PhD.
