Regardless of whether the attendance sucked again. Years ago (and not tryinig to sound like I only live in the past) weather wouldn't have deterred 50-65% of the fans from attending the race, postponed or not. Bristol used to be the hottest seat to have no matter the time of year, Darlington was next in line, and so was Richmond and Rockingham. Over the last few years Bristol keeps losing ground and now has less actual attendance than Michigan. It is sad to see. IF the trend continues Bristol could easily lose a race and we will get another 1.5 mile cookie cutter.
