based on that - it does sound like he was the local distributor and probably had signage/promo material from HJOE. i originally thought HJOE had a booth.

while i like the story - there is still a major disconnect with funding/capital. not that these distributors are all independently wealthy but if they are that excited about the product/potential - why wouldnt they buy in? either on the open market or as a inside investor? some of that may be disallowed due to a conflict of interest depending on the way their contracts are structured but they could certainly buy on the open market unless they have had direct access to inside information.

again, best case, the new product/distribution contracts have put them in a position to be choosy this time around with capital instead of taking toxic debt deals that put them in a bind in 2013. this seems more viable when considering the interest and promotion by LTCG.
