I remember reading on one of these boards that

the poster felt we were at a disadvantage in distribution because Rush was only available in bottles and schools, etc. could not have glass containers in vending machines. Check out this part of the PR:

"the company reports it is in talks with high-level Japanese retail and advertising groups to make available Rush Ginseng Cola(TM) (12 fl. oz. cans), Rush Ginseng Cola XXX(TM) energy drink (8.45 fl. oz. cans) and Ginseng Rush XXX(TM) energy drink (8.45 fl. oz. cans) in retail venues and vending machines throughout the nation of Japan."
