Chase has been doing this picture check deposit for about a year already. It's nothing to be concerned about. You have to have a paper check to begin with and then take pictures of the front and back. Sometimes they dont accept the photos that are even taken making it frustrating. Imagine doing that with multiple checks. There is a $2000 max per day and a maximum $5000 a month limit. Anything bigger and they won't accept it. I've used it once and found it annoying as it took an extra day for funds to clear and the checks I receive are much larger than $2000 so I am still constantly going to the bank for deposits. Regardless, this is different than what MyEcheck is trying to do.
