If you need to find a specific month in the last couple of years to hang your hat on, then go for it. The reality is that the rate of share release has been rising inexhorably since the authorization of the share increase from 500 million to 1.5 billion. For the sake of a direct comparison to today we will convert the number of shares to the post r/s equivalent of 25 Million and 62 Million respectively.
At that time (spring 2003) there were 25 million shares in the OS, at the time of the r/s just over two years later, there were 62 Million. That's an AVERAGE of 1.5 million per month in today's equivalent shares.
Since the r/s there have been 30 million a month. Last month there were 40 million released.
I stand by my statement that the share release has increased steadily and has never ever decreased noticeably.
Spin that.
