Not at all - if they have the shares available for shorting for customers, they will continue to accept short orders as usual (little should change in this regard as I believe brokerages were not allowed to lend naked shorted shares to customers already) - The maket makers is where this will impact - they had been allowed to, and face penalties if they cannot cover their naked shorts - all of this is my understanding as a noob and non lawyer. Please get other opinions friend :) GLTY
