I think that its great news Jacuzzi® is picking up Eco Red shield wood. I have a 10 man hot tub and with temps and humidity the wood takes it on the chin with mold. And ants love to build nests in them as I have had to spray in ours for ant nests. Think about who buys Hot Tubs? People with money! People building new houses and spending money! This is going to be some of the best free advertisement the Eco has ever had. If they make there flag ship Jacuzzi out of ECO wood this is going to be HUGE! Composites hot tub hold up great but look really cheap to me. My ten man Tub is all Mahogany Wood and retails about 12G. IT looks great however I might even buy a new tub and trade mine in with Eco wood just to keep ants and mold away as it is a pain to clean every year and stain. I won't go the composite route as it looks cheap. I can see the sales guys now at Jacuzzi telling people about this wood and how they are the only tub maker that has it. Customers, the ones with money will ask about it, they will research it and bam! Free advertisement for Eco wood in the real world to the people with the money! The people that will build houses! Starting to think this CEO might be a much smarter sales person then we give him credit! Who cares if its not a huge money maker! It is getting the product known and ECO wood out there to the people with the money building houses! Brilliant CEO marketing move in the long run! WOW! ECOB Got two top companies Home Depot and Jacuzzi!
