I'm sure that they researched EVERYTHING that would be involved before going full steam ahead (who wouldn't, with all that needs to be invested). GW pharma is in the business of making compounds to treat different diseases while fitx is just there to send out medical cannabis. Hopefully in the future they will have some chemists involved so they may also make compounds!
