If I was Mr. Schoonover, I’d most probably know what the most important issues/problems/big agenda items/short term decisions needed to be done are before I start working the 1st of next month.
I assume GZFX partnership is one of these pieces. I’d ask the responsible manager for this partnership project to put a report together with a proposal. Even if there’s a decision made earlier, I’d like to see the facts and numbers behind this decision and I’d ask them to wait for my blessing.

Since this can’t be the biggest item in CEO’s agenda, I’d give at least another week to finalize the decision that puts us on the week of March 6th.
