Good question. Maybe these guys talked to KT at some point and Kim was speculating on possible uses of BR based on what he knows about it.

Why no pr? No point in PR-ing speculation or feeling maybe. That's already been done to death regarding spider silk fibers.

I did like this part of the article though:

"Karry, marketing manager of Ford Company in America said, the goal of ecological vehicles using nonwoven materials was to develop composite fiber technology for injection molding interior materials. Thus, automobile industry will rely less on unsustainable materials."

I think the above quote means that the other makers of spider silk fibers will be left out of the picture.
