This video is an interview with Gerald at the conference in LA in early December. In it he says they will be releasing some data on Retinitis Pigmentosa in the first half of 2014 and starting clinical trials in the second half of 2014.

Is that possible that we could start Phase 1 trials this year on RP? I am not aware that we have submit an IND yet, nor officially obtained "orphan status" from the FDA. So how could we start human trials? Maybe since Gerald said this he has realized that it can't move along that quickly?

I think we could maybe get "orphan status" from the FDA pretty soon, but can we get through the IND process in time to start human trials before the end of 2014?

Any thoughts?
