SAVANNAH, GA -- (Marketwired) -- 03/11/14 -- MIT Holding, Inc. (OTCQB: MITD) announces that AMGP GEORGIA MANAGED CARE COMPANY, INC., D.B.A. Amerigroup Community Care, revised a "Participating Provider Agreement" to include ambulatory, infusion and perinatal services to the existing "Durable Medical Equipment Contract" (DME). Therefore, the contract will now pay for all services offered by MITD, for a demographically larger range of patients.


AMGP Georgia Managed Care Company, Inc. is a Georgia Care Maintenance Organization (CMO). They serve members in the Georgia Families Programs, such as, Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids. AMGP is dedicated to offering real solutions that improve health care access and quality for its members, while proactively working to reduce the overall cost of care to taxpayers.
