My take on the description for the Corporate Communications Director is that they intend to re-brand themselves, and focus on general public awareness (as opposed to a Corp Com Dir focused on wall street)...There also seems to be a strong emphasis on working with Sales & Marketing, leading me to believe they intend on developing (or finalising) and innitiating a go-to-market strategy in the near-term.

The fact that they would ideally like someone from a TV background leads me to believe they intend to take this show on the road (and in the spotlight) with heavy promotions. No need for an individual who's "camera friendly" unless this is the case.
