I've known more thieving lying conniving pendejos in the Great White North than anywhere else, but i put that down to the fact that to date i've passed more time in this country than anywhere else ... seems like there's a proportion among the species, everywhere you go ... however, the great majority do not run, or attempt to run, or have the power to attempt to run, world empires ...

You know, the politics i know most is quite local - in three countries, Canada México New Zealand ... and it's all real dirty ... the absolute dirtiest backstabbing bugger thy neighbour strange bedfellows politics you can find ... BUT - the players tend not to have nuclear weapons, nor to give arms to temporary 'allies', not to plant land mines to blow up little kids ... although, in a zoning dispute with which i am currently peripherally involved, i fully expect Them to consider those options, and i can't deny that it's crossed my mind too.
