question: [as an example] on so many form 4's that are filed [at least by companies that file anything], and form of ownership by an individual is shown as "indirect", might it show up as "institutional" because a "mgmt company" handles the transactions? [that is besides non-inside ownership]

further, isnt it a popular tax maneuver by some?, positioning certain assets within a calender year?
