This may have been posted before. Not much here but worth looking at. You'll have to scroll down to the comment section to find what I've pasted here. It's at least nice to see that CH "expect that PPE will be an important application (for MS)". I'd expect that if testing weren't going well, he would have said something along the lines of "we're still testing/evaluating".

Do you see KBLB’s MonsterSilk(tm) as a possible material in the use of the gloves?

MonsterSilk(tm) fiber is still a work in progress but yes I expect that PPE will be an important application.
