I can go back and look at the charts to try to see what eyes are looking at when they post entry prices.

A large part of why I post the arrows on the charts. Helps me as well.

You guys are not afraid to take positions on stocks entering new high area's, I will not do this yet. I still feel comfortable knowing it has traded there before

Blue sky breakout is wonderful (if indicators are aligned). Different types of stocks act differently so take that into consideration. OTC, big board pennies (under $5), big board 5-15 etc all follow some different rules. OTC charts past three months are not much use, big board pennies up to about 5 months, big board 5-15 a little longer and so on. So if you are looking at a 5 month chart for GSS for instance, a break of .85 is blue sky for all practical purposes even though it has traded much higher farther in the past.

I still feel comfortable knowing it has traded there before. Need to read on candlesticks a little more from some of AZY's posts.

Depends on trading style and what you are comfortable with. I barely use them, I think Roo uses them some, and Azy uses them a lot. All in trading style.
