That is one difference between Canada and the US. The US allows direct-to-consumer pharmaceutical advertising (ad nauseum, in fact).
Canada does not allow direct-to-consumer drug advertising. The drug marketing efforts are focused on physicians.
Mind you, we get to see American pharmaceutical ads endlessly on American networks.
