seems awfully suspicious to me.

Almost got locked out a while back (in october) when I considered selling / re-buying FNMA with Merril Edge (my secondary broker).

So... found out that on a red Friday, right before a Monday gap down... they made it so you had to have a special digitizer card to unlock trading for the 'risky' FNMA or, you couldn't re-buy into it.

Glad I tested a buy-preview before I sold... took a week to get that card and I never used it.

Just very fishy stuff.
