Celgene has invested more than a billion dollars in biotechnology start-ups many whom are in the preclinical or phase 1 clinical trials. They have been acclaimed for their flexibility in their financing these companies with cash, licensing fees based on clinical success, and stock purchases. They have had access to their laboratory data under secrecy agreements and made their own evaluation of the science to predict the likelihood of success. Big Pharma is hungry for new molecules so it is only a question of time (not long) before there will be additional financing or a partnership for CTIX. JMHO
