By acquiring Nations ORFG is gaining a large foot hold in a nation full of both uranium and billions in shale oil. It's been a while since I invested in oil stocks but if I recall correctly shale oil is a bit of a pain to get which is why Nations would have had a tough time doing anything with it. When ORFG takes over we as shareholders are all hoping and betting that they can do something with this oil and if we are right and they do the potential can certainly be in the billions in sales.
The second part people look over is potential for uranium and coal. Both of these resources have been found in abundance in the area and could potentially be found in the area ORFG would acquire. If these were found in abundance ORFG would almost certainly have one of the big boys actually mine it and then get revenue from what they gather.
Cheers fellow ORFG shareholders,
Dutch
