Thank you so much AD. I may have a bit of work to do on my rig before I get to far off-road in my camper. I call it a camper, but it's really an ambulance on steriods. It has an ambulance box on an International 4700 chassis. The Navistar turbo diesel sucks the fuel...Hence the thought of jumping on a ferry, spending a month or so checking AK out (as I've never visited your state...making a connection in Anchorage doesn't count). I've heard a lot about the Hatcher Pass area. I am inclined to take your advice and hang around Homer and Kenai. I have read reports on many of the creeks and streams along the Sterling Highway. My late older brother was a merchant seaman so you could say I have an affinity for the ocean. Need a job so I may as well look for one while I'm up there...At least that is my plan for the summer. Money is a bit tight at the moment so I am trying to marshall the funds to play all summer. We'll see how things turn out. I'll be in touch. Thanks again for the info. S~P
