Not really, Doug. The preview showed scores only slightly better, at best, and up to 10% worse, at worst. I mentioned the notion that the memory controller might be improved in the next stepping, as is the rumor right now, but since when has a late detected performance fix gained >10% performance back? All I said was that it's unlikely that AMD will get significant performance gains with socket AM2, but if you'd like to go out on a limb and predict otherwise, we can see later if you are right. Otherwise, your point is rather weak.
