Schris,

You are correct, this is a new identity. I have been following this blog for about a year now. I only signed up to investorhub to post that. I know it seems like a bash, and you can see I am not very optimistic, but I am myself a shareholder. It scares me when I see HPTG (www.hydrophi.com) and it has the same platform as Echo. I would love to get a reaction from the company, maybe light a fire under their ass (although they wouldn't be there to feel the heat). I am sure they have already moved on. I am an Engineer in the Automotive Industry, Echo had an idea that could have made money if they had their product developed and were out selling it to fleets. Instead they continue to "prep" waiting for their big debut (The most innovative idea in hybrid technology that is just waiting to take advantage of that HUGE market.) I am not trying to convey negativity, but the probability and reality of them making money is not in their favor. The past news has sealed the fate of this company. They have had that van for a while now. Now Echo is deploying a couple of "beta" units out to their "customers" for "testing" "dialing" the system in. I am sure one of their employees could have driven that van around to get a general idea of what to expect ( that didn't happen because of how expensive the battery unit is - and it will only last for 4 years (like most hybrid battery units) not quit long enough for the fleet managers to see the ROI. You can head up to Cleveland this weekend for the Auto Show and drive a Jeep around their track to see how sweet it is. At the truck show in Indy, you can also drive the VAN around to see how sweet it is. If their is one employee at Echo that could prove me wrong, believe me, I would be so happy... If you or anyone is at the Truck Show ask them two questions, don't let them sell you on the hybrid technology, that is old news. Don't ask them on future plans. Don't ask them what the next move is. Don't ask them about how their current move is going into their distribution/testing center. Don't ask them if they have clients lined up, or if they are ready for production. Ask them if they have sold any units and ask them why they haven't. That is all, this is the only real information that is important to you as a shareholder. Two questions, then listen to the excuses. An innovator would have no excuse. So when you hear Echo's Echoing excuses in your ear, question them, don't be shy.
