At some point, you've invested enough time and energy in a story that you just have to, however irrational it may sound, stick through it until the very end. Intel has given me just enough hope to keep on playing for another product cycle which means, for better or worse, I'm going to stick with my shares.

That's really the problem...there's always hope, always the chance that this next product will be "the" one to begin gaining some traction. That was Silvermont and its various derivatives for a lot of people, but that turned out to be a bust. Now, for those of us who keep holding on, it's Goldmont/Broxton/SoFIA.
