Well the question still stands no matter what you think. Why is it that in 70 years and various companies nobody has ever pulled a single large nugget from the mine if they were right in the middle of the nuggets?

According to you and many other sources the gold is in pockets. If they were in the middle of a pocket the gold should be very accessible.
Rolling around on the ground??? No I never said they were I said there was nobody stopping them from continuing to pull nuggets 6 years after it was closed.

The mine should have been in perfect shape in 1948 why didnt they run into the hole to pick up where they left off?

it seems to me that if CL Best was "in the middle of removing nuggets" they would have went right back into mining after the war but apparently they didnt and when Best died 9 years after closure the people who bought it didnt feel the need to finish taking the nuggets out of it either.

Why is it that the various companies who have owned leased or had the option to mine it never found the other half of the nuggets?
