The company released a fluff bomb pr about an officer buying on the open market and the stock declined over 3.5 percent.

That is about as bearish an indicator as you are going to get.

AND the stock is depressed as it is.

Stick a fork in this. It's done. Dead money.

I would say the reason is that Mr. Market knows what effect class action suits have on a company.
