I have a margin account with Scottrade just so I don't have to wait for that settlement problem. I also use their Money Direct setup to move straight from my bank account to broker account. Get a margin account or check with your broker to see what can be done so you don't have to wait. If you don't have a margin acct, keep in mind you don't have to trade on margin to use a margin acct. $2000 money/equity I believe is the minimum needed for margin.
