djohn, there is a difference between urgency and desperation. The funding levels that Peregrine has operated at for the 15 years I have owned it have always been precarious. I am very happy that Peregrine has a little money in the bank to finance the Phase III trial, some early stage Bavi-immunotherapy trials, and perhaps new breast cancer trials. I'm glad they have enough money to withstand low ball offers from those benevolent BPs who surely would not screw a little company running short of cash.

I strongly doubt that Peregrine has turned down partner or buyout options that many here would approve. Frankly, in the past they did not have the data to support better deals. IMO they are only now approaching the point of having the data to support a solid deal.

I know it is frustrating that King did not provide more detailed information. I believe we will get much additional information from the scientific fora that Peregrine is attending in March. So, hang in there more news is definitely on the way.
