This is a HUGE misrepresentation by the cobra . You're 1000% correct. A partnership isn't what they have at all because HD could care less how ECOB runs their business. They buy a product from them for a price they expect and now all they want is for them to deliver and meet all their "FINE PRINT" delivery criteria. Some of that criteria can result in cost penalties which is also main stream tactics in all the Big Box stores as well.

Deep pocket partners aren't stupid as they must seem to be. They do the DD before they become a "partner" and what do you suppose they will think? lol...more over...lets say for a fleeting moment they have serious interest...They would turn this company inside out and make sweeping changes as they don't want this same mngmnt in place mnging their "partnership". No one sends good money after bad. HD can always find another supplier of any boutique product and in this case could probably develop their own private brand that IMO would have more branding value than ECOB's would.
