Mt. Gox bitcoin site disappears
MADRID (MarketWatch) — Bitcoin prices tumbled to levels not seen in months on Tuesday after the popular bitcoin exchange Mt. Gox went blank amid reports that trading was halted earlier and that the website may have been deleted.

The website was functioning on Monday evening. A report on Business Insider cited customers of the Tokyo-based bitcoin platform as saying they received messages saying trading activity was disabled, while two sites monitoring Mt. Gox said there was currently no activity.
