Andrew, yes the FED is very powerful. Doesn't mean the USD won't lose more on it's value over time
Thats what I didnt want to say. This is crystal clear bet as it will be losing value over time. Intristic value I mean (how many hamburgers you can buy for 10 bucks).
I was talking about relative value against other currencies. And thats where I see USD winning longterm against others.
Actually predicting currencies really long-term is doable. Worst is mid-term and ultra short-term.
Regarding the numbers - 1,60 can happen, yes. Shortterm to midterm anything is possible but I dont see this happening (though thats really just an opinion, not really based on something tangible besides that I can hardly see that with the current eurozone).
Anyway, as you say - especially with SIAF, I dont see this issue as something important. There are way more important factors involved that need to get in or there will be nothing to count in dollars, hence neither in euros
