Bingo! As the population increases with age the need for pain killers will increase. Abuse will be the main problem not only for those prescribed to the medications but also those gaining access to the prescription meds out there.

Ya cant put a serial number on each pill/capsule or have a bar code on each tablet/capsule. Best way to kill the problem is to disable the prescription opioids. Elites ART is the best way.
The FDA/DEA will makes moves this way once they have the tool with which to work. Again... Elites ART is the best tool for the job. It will be an abusers nightmare. They will have to go back to heroin whose street value is diminished due to the highly popular prescription opioids.

The DEA can concentrate on busting the illegal drugs coming into the country without having to waste resources on legal prescription opioid abuse like pill mills. Getting smack off the streets will be a priority after prescription opioids are made abuser free.

Think the FDA/DEA wont mandate a tool if they have one that can be used with all presiption opioids in tablet and capsule form?
Think again. They just need the tool with which to work with.
Not the turtle shell either. They need something hard to defeat.
