I can't see how it can't be delayed as the judge would want the parties to have a mandatory settlement conference (since the last one scheduled didn't take place) prior to any court trial so that they could come to agreement on some of the issues. The judge doesn't want the court resources tied up for the full 15-days scheduled for a trial. She would encourage the parties to come to some kind of a mutual agreement on some of the issues prior to the trial.
